Since our founding in 1972, our objective was, and continues to be, to provide our students and their families an opportunity to better understand and appreciate the Chinese language, tradition, and culture.

Ai-Cheng Mandarin Chinese School was established in 1972 as a registered non-profit organization run by dedicated teachers and volunteers.
In 1972, we offered our first Mandarin lessons and cultural programs to students in Scarborough, Ontario, at Agincourt Collegiate Institute. Throughout the years, we offered various forms of Mandarin teaching, including in-class lessons, beginner classes, advanced-speaker classes, conversational classes and computer-based e-learning classes.
Since our founding nearly 50 years ago, tens of thousands of students have graduated from our programs. At Ai-Cheng, we continue to provide programs that can act as a bridge between Canadian and Chinese cultures.
